The CMC 2-Stage trigger easily replaces your AR-15’s gritty, heavy factory trigger and gives you a smooth, consistent, two-stage pull with a crisp, clean break, and a short reset. It’s based on the drop-in trigger module originally designed by competition shooter Chip McCormick to provide all the advantages of a fine, match-grade trigger without the hand-fitting and trial-and-error.

These two-stage CMC triggers come pre-set from the factory with a variety of first ("set") and second ("release") stage pull weights, so you can choose a combination that’s best for your kind of shooting. And you can choose between a traditional Curved trigger shoe or an eye-catching Flat shoe with a different finger-to-trigger feel that some target shooters prefer.
As with all CMC triggers, the AR-15 2-stage model has a robust steel housing that retains all the internal components in proper alignment for easy, fast installation. Generous, precision-ground sear/hammer engagement surfaces provide a remarkably clean, crisp release while preserving reliable function. Each trigger assembly is carefully adjusted at the factory for minimal take-up and over-travel. Threaded sleeves provide ultra-smooth pivot surfaces for the hammer and trigger. Two slightly oversized center pins replace the standard, trigger/hammer pins to prevent trigger wobble, reduce friction, and save wear. Chicago-type screws eliminate pin walk.
