GRS' lightest and most advanced composite piston, with more adjustment options and attachment points for accessories. Bifrost is super strong and weatherproof with an ergonomic grip and stem that gives you full control in all conditions. One of the advantages of Bifrost is that in addition to the length of the butt, you can also change the height and angle of the butt plate for better contact with the shoulder. For standing shooting, it is often an advantage to have a lower butt plate and this adjustment is also done quickly without tools. Picatinny rails, QD mounts for weapon strap, and bipod mount are pre-assembled. - Adjustable butt length (LOP 35-38cm) and height of butt cam. GRS SpeedLock - Adjustable buttplate without tools . Adjustable in height and rotation - Prepared for spigot to leg rest and picatinny base for weapon lamp or leg rest - Lightweight and super strong composite with 65% fiberglass composite in the center section of the piston - Ergonomic grip with optimized angle and tilt of the pistol grip - Picatinny base under the buttstock. Prepared for Bag Rider mounting - Limbsaver® Airtech (0.5" thick) buttstock with built-in air cushions that reduce perceived recoil by up to 70% - Flush Cup quick-release brackets - Drop In. 6° that makes a difference
All GRS pistons have a relatively straight grip with an ergonomic design that GRS has become known for. An important detail is that the grip is angled 6° outwards from the centerline of the barrel. This corresponds to the angle of the hand when pointing with the index finger, which provides a more neutral and relaxed shooting position suitable for both hunting and shooting.

    *Bedding
Bedding the system in the box means adjusting the rifle's stock so that the system/box always rests against the stock in the right places. This is so that the recoil can be transferred to the piston in exactly the same way in every shot, regardless of external circumstances or whether the gun has become hot. Bedding a piston can be done by a gunsmith and it almost always gives precision advantages.
GRS composite pistons and chassis do not usually require bedding, but some guns such as the CG1900 (which has been hand polished to a greater extent) may still need it. Laminate pistons should always be bedded to avoid cracking.
