Hornady's LEVERevolution brings new life to classic lever-action and revolver calibers.

The ammunition has completely changed the picture of what performance to expect from these calibers. The key is Hornady's FTX and MonoFlex bullets with the patented Flex Tip® technology. By equipping the bullets with a soft, flexible tip, it is possible to produce a pointed and streamlined bullet that can be used in tube magazines. Flextip provides superior BC with better performance when distances are longer.

For Sweden, the increased performance has meant that, for example, a previously typical class 2 caliber such as 30-30 Win, suddenly meets the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's requirements for class 1 with Hornady's factory load and the FTX bullet.

LEVERevolution ammunition is offered in the most common calibers for bolt action rifles, in two different designs. Hornady's FTX® and the lead-free Monoflex bullet. Both highly effective bullets with a controlled and deep expansion even at low velocities.

FTX® Rifle

A bullet that has revolutionized ammunition for lever-action rifles. With the patented Flex Tip® technology, you can now use a pointed design with better ballistics and accuracy, in a tube magazine. The flexible tip fills a large cavity in the leading edge that ensures expansion at low velocities. A strong jacket, behind the mechanical lead lock (Interlock®), provides great depth action and high residual weight.

Notes:

To reliably feed the last shot, a newer type of follower to the tube magazine (the part that pushes the cartridge) may be required in some cases.
