The Federal Punch is a fast and tough bullet that both penetrates deeply and expands.
It is designed for maximum penetration in short barrels. However, when used in a rifle, the higher velocity will cause the bullet to expand greatly. Punch is well suited for hunting and tests have shown that it can mushroom up to about 9mm in diameter in game.
- Nickel plated lead bullet with flat nose
- Optimized for maximum penetration shot from a pistol (329m/s in a 2" barrel). Meets FBI requirements of at least 30cm penetration in 10% Gel.
- Effective hunting bullet that expands at high velocities (503 m/s in 24" barrel)
- Nickel plated case for safe reloading and increased resistance to corrosion
