Hornady's HIT™ TARGET is a smart hit indicator that mounts on the target stand. It senses vibrations and communicates "H-I-T" with Morse code. A super bright LED is visible up to 900 meters without binoculars or scopes. This is an extra useful tool in combination with long distances or when the energy in the bullet is so low that the plate barely moves.
The hit indicator is mounted with elastic rubber bands and you have to be a little creative to find a reasonably protected place to mount it so that it senses vibrations without being directly exposed to splinters.
