The model has been updated with a modular design that is easily optimized as needed. This means that the H2 with three modules corresponds to the predecessors Hertz 87, Hertz 119 and Hertz 150 in one and the same attenuator. With one module you have a super-short attenuator that weighs only 260 grams but still attenuates +20dB!
For optimal performance, the front modules (1, 2 and 3) are caliber-adapted. These are license-free and can be purchased afterwards if you wish.
Elegant quick-release mount offered instead of a regular thread. You screw on and off the damper, just by turning 60 ° (turns)! A recoil brake with A-Lock is available as an accessory.
An A-Lock Mini adapter is mounted* on the threaded barrel, which also allows you to use the same damper for several weapons even if they have different threads. The A-Lock Mini attachment to the suppressor is always the same.
*Follow A-tec's installation instructions
Description
Article no.: ATEC-H2-3MODUL
If you have an A-LOCK Mini compatible silencer, the A-LOCK Mini adapter must be correctly attached to your barrel before firing. We recommend that this is done by a gunsmith with the correct tools.
- Check that the rifle is unloaded and remove the breechblock.
- Degrease the threads on both the barrel and the adapter.
- Apply Loctite 638 to the barrel threads.
- Attach and tighten the A-LOCK Mini Adapter to the barrel using the special tool (sold separately).
- Tighten with moderate torque (6-8 Nm) using the special tool. Do not use excessive force, otherwise the threads may be damaged.
- Wipe off any excess Loctite adhesive. Apply grease to the A-LOCK adapter.
- Attach and detach the silencer a few times to check the fit and alignment.
Warning: Tighten the silencer firmly by hand on the A-LOCK mini adapter before firing and check between shots that the silencer is firmly attached.
