This SFAR in 308/7.62 caliber is the big brother of Ruger's popular 223 MPR carbine.
One of the main advantages of the SFAR is that it is close in size to the AR-15. This AR-10 is thus smaller and sleeker than its competitors, which most people who have ever shot a semi-auto .308 will appreciate. The SFAR lowers the threshold considerably for those who want to start shooting AR-10, and the smaller size also facilitates the transition from AR-15.
The SFAR is also prepared for competition from the start and therefore comes with, among other things:
2-stage Ruger Elite 452 competition trigger (lightened hammer but full-strength spring to safely ignite even harder primers).

According to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's new guidelines from August 1, 2023, this AR10 semi-automatic rifle can also be approved for a license for hunting purposes. For hunting purposes, this comes with a 5-shot magazine.
