Savage's MSR 10 is a well-built semi-automatic rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor caliber suitable for both hunting and shooting. The Hunter version comes with an 18" barrel, recoil pad and a Blackhawk Blaze trigger. An adjustable gas block allows the use of standard silencers without flow through design.
The buttstock, grip, trigger and magazine are standard AR components but the reinforced upper is a further development for lower weight and better accuracy. A major advantage over most AR carbines in this price range is that the forend/handguard does not just hang on the barrel nut but is robustly screwed into the upper. The MSR 10 also has a screw that allows you to adjust the play between the top and bottom of the box.

The platform has been developed in several ways for safe operation and precision. For example, the handguard has a reinforced attachment in the top of the box. Minimizes the risk of target movement due to the impact of leg rests, weapon straps, etc.

The MSR 10 Hunter comes threaded with an effective muzzle brake. The adjustable gas block means that you can also use ordinary hunting silencers (in shorter series so as not to overheat the silencer).
