Firearms and Other License-Required Items

When Purchasing a Firearm

If you purchase a firearm from us, we are happy to assist with everything related to the license application to the Police Authority.
We will contact you via email shortly after your order to gather the information needed to submit a complete application.

After we submit your license application, you will receive a payment slip from the Police Authority, usually within 1–2 weeks after they have received the application.
This payment should be made as soon as possible, as the Police will not process the application until it is paid.

It is also possible to submit the license application yourself via the Police Authority’s website.

Difference Between License and Purchase Permit

You can apply for either a purchase permit or a full firearm license.

If the firearm you ordered is out of stock, you can apply for a purchase permit. We will then order the firearm immediately for you.
This is done to speed up the licensing process so that we don’t have to wait for the firearm to arrive before submitting your application.

There is no difference in cost or processing time whether you apply for a purchase permit or a full license.
The difference is that we complete the application with the firearm’s details once it arrives and you have received the purchase permit.

After Receiving Your License / Purchase Permit

License

When you receive your license from the Police Authority, you will also receive a copy (the transferor’s copy).
Scan this copy and email it to us, or send it by post. We will then ship your order as soon as possible.

If you choose to pick up your firearm in-store, you must always contact us before coming to ensure all items you ordered are in stock.
Do not forget to bring your license, the transferor’s copy, and your ID.

Purchase Permit

When you receive your purchase permit from the Police Authority, we do not receive a copy. You must provide the copy sent to you.

It is acceptable to scan and email it to us. If you do not have access to a scanner, you must send it by post. Photographs (e.g., with a phone) are not sufficient.

If you choose to pick up your firearm in-store, you must always contact us beforehand to ensure all items you ordered are available.

Delivery of Firearms

Your firearm is shipped in two packages, with vital parts always sent separately.

When your firearm is ready to ship, you will receive a notification by email with a tracking number, or via the PostNord app.
This tracking number cannot be used to track the shipment since it is sent as a registered “Värde” shipment and for security reasons can only be tracked by us.

When the firearm arrives at your pickup point, you will receive a notification from PostNord with details of the location and the package number required for collection.

Right of Withdrawal for Firearm Purchases

If you wish to cancel your firearm purchase, it is important that you contact us immediately.

Each firearm has a unique serial number, and a specific firearm is reserved for you.
Since there may be a waiting list for firearms, it is important for us to know if you cancel so that we can void your order and release the firearm to the next customer.

Exceptions: For special-ordered firearms, a non-refundable deposit is required if you cancel.

We do not loan ordered firearms under any circumstances, even with a temporary or “loan” license.
This is a requirement imposed by the Police Authority on us as a licensed firearm dealer.
