Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 is a thermal sight equipped with a laser rangefinder aimed at the hunter who not only hunts at shorter distances but also at slightly longer distances. The combination of a NETD<40 mK, 12 µm size of the display pixels, 640 x 480 Lynred heat sensor and a magnification of 3-24x makes it an incomparable all-round thermal sight. Whether you hunt wild boar, hare, fox, bird, impala or beaver, the sight will deliver a perfect thermal image with a rarely seen resolution.

Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 thermal sight with laser rangefinder

The fact that the rangefinder is built into the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 means that the measurements are made with the highest possible security. If you use the sight where the rangefinder is not molded into the sight, it will lose the ability to make accurate measurements. In Pulsar's case, these risks are completely eliminated.

Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 is equipped with one of the world's best types of heat sensors. The NETD value (heat resolution in millikelvin) of only 40 mK on the heat sensor combined with the innovative equalization filter function is what makes Pulsar's heat sights usually have a much clearer, more contrasting and detailed heat image than their competitors whose sensor is at significantly lower levels. A poorer NETD value means that the thermal image becomes much more diffuse, dull and poor in contrast. The lower the NETD value, the finer the thermal image you can expect. The sensor is not cooled.

Specifications:

  • The thermal sieve is built to withstand up to 6000 Joules. You can mount the heat sight on calibers such as .375 H & H, 12 gauge and 9.3x64.
  • The Thermion 2 sights are constructed in a robust and reliable design, reinforced but lightweight metal construction. Precision manufacturing of the housing elements ensures flawless field performance.
  • Integrated video (including recoil-enabled) and still image capture in MPEG-4 and .jpg make sharing your experiences quick and easy. The integrated 16 GB memory stores hours of video or thousands of photos.
  • Using Wi-Fi and the Stream Vision App, connect Thermion 2 to a smartphone or tablet for use as a second monitor or remote control. Also transfer recorded files, adjust settings, upgrade software.
  • The Thermion 2 sight has dual battery system consisting of two batteries: one internal and one external. The external battery guarantees additional operating time and can be changed in a couple of seconds.
  • Color palettes offer custom display options. While White Hot and Black Hot are most popular, Red Hot, Rainbow and Ultramarine highlight a warm signature with intense hotspots. Violet, Red, Black/White and Sepia are optimal palettes for reduced eye fatigue during long periods of observation.
  • Digital zoom, up to 8x, provides better focus and overall target recognition at great distances.
  • Sharp, richly contrasted thermal imaging for enhanced identification of animals, their limbs and even the smallest details, i.e. branches, leaves, grass and terrain.
  • Wide range of color-customizable reticles, including scalable ballistic styles. Color options: black, white, red and green.
  • Functions and features of the Thermion 2 models as well as their performance can be upgraded and improved with the release of new software.
  • Thermion 2 operation and adjustments are easy using 3 function buttons on the top of the unit and the left side knob. The 3 buttons and knob provide access to and management of all menu options, settings and system functions.
  • Picture-in-picture displays a magnified image in the top center 10% of the overall field of view for accurate shot placement.
  • IPX7 waterproofing for protection against heavy rain, snow or other precipitation. Thermion 2 is engineered to perform flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 3 feet of water (equivalent to about 0.9 meters) for up to 30 minutes.
  • Store up to 5 inserts of 10 distances each for different situations in internal memory for quick switching between distances.
  • While Thermion's 2 HD AMOLED display delivers a sharp and richly contrasted, vividly colored field of view, AMOLED technology ensures flawless, fluid, high-resolution images and energy savings.
  • Smoothing filter, a new feature that powerfully enhances contrasts in the thermal image and makes even small details such as grass blades, foliage, bush branches and even animal hairs visible.
  • Built-in rangefinder that measures up to 800m in total darkness.
  • Compatible with the Stream Vision 2 app.

Image settings:

Multiple thermal settings ensure the best possible thermal image adapted to the external atmospheric conditions and the surrounding environment.

  • Normal, adjusts the thermal image to emphasize even small details such as foliage, bushes, etc.
  • Ultra, adjusts the thermal image to more easily locate living creatures when multiple objects generate a stronger heat signature in the environment.
  • High, highlights smaller details for easier recognition.
  • User mode, utilizes the customized setting set by the user in terms of thermal sensitivity, resolution, contrast and brightness.
